The Story
Literally “brown rice tea”, Genmaicha is essentially a blend of any green tea and roasted brown rice which create a very distinctly Japanese flavor.
Once brewed, this tea has a light yellow hue and a nutty flavour. The earthy and toasty aroma is an immediate punch to the nose.
