Literally “sweet tea”, Amacha is a unique Japanese herbal tea made from fermented leaves of Hydrangea meticulously picked from the countryside of Iwate Prefecture.
This tea contains no caffeine but tannin and phyllodulcin, a natural sweetener found in Hydrangea Macrophylla that can improve diabetic metabolic changes and prevent periodontitis. The beverage is also credited with antiallergic properties that suppress inflammation and oxidative stress.
